About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

How you will contribute:

1. You will answer phones, greet donors, and focus on our donors, ensuring their safety and that of our team.
2. You will screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
3. You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
4. You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
5. You will be available to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to support our donors.

What you bring to Takeda:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
• Experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful but not mandatory

• Starting hourly wage: $16.00, in accordance with local minimum wage requirements
• Eligibility for short-term incentives, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, and well-being benefits
• Up to 80 hours of sick time per year and up to 120 hours of paid vacation for new hires
