Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a part-time Scheduler at Fairfield Hospital to coordinate patient testing and procedures across departments. You will enter patient data, support office tasks, and may serve as a receptionist for patients.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and reliable communication with physician offices and staff. The qualified candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 years of scheduling and payroll experience; an Associate degree

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years scheduling and payroll experience preferred
• Associate degree in business/healthcare or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares, posts, and distributes daily schedules; updates as needed
• Maintain staffing levels and communicate needs to supervisor and director
• Review attendance for payroll and PTO/vacation requests
• Verify patient information and equipment/special requests with staff
• Ensure correct orders/clinical history are entered into the system
• Provide test preparation instructions and answer scheduling questions
