Job summary

Advantmed is seeking enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for a part-time, seasonal role requiring travel to various medical facilities. You will scan patient records, organize data, and maintain accurate digital files while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.

Ideal candidates have basic PC skills, a valid driver’s license with active insurance, and a willingness to drive up to 60-80 miles round trip. Competitive pay and travel-related perks are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with common software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gather documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines, rules, and procedures.
• Interact with medical staff and healthcare providers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
