Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for part-time, seasonal work. The role involves traveling to various medical facilities to scan patient records using company-provided equipment.

You will collect, organize, and manage data while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. The position requires a valid driver's license, a car, and internet access at home, with availability from 08:00 to 17:00 in the respective time zone.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Have a car and active insurance in their name.
• Willing to drive up to 60-80 miles round-trip.
• Internet access at home.
• Applicants must be available from 08:00 to 17:00 respective time zone to visit required facilities.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines, rules, and procedures.
• Interact with medical staff and providers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
