Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of experience in Medical Billing & Coding with certification.
• Knowledge of healthcare fields including Medical Billing & Coding careers.
• Ability to plan instruction based on approved syllabus/outline.
• Ability to use diverse teaching styles for different learners.
• Ability to use instructional technologies (computers, internet, media).

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Billing and Coding courses in various times/locations as needed.
• Advance instruction quality continuously.
• Develop and use varied teaching materials to meet course outcomes.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and community.
• Evaluate students to measure progress per college policies.
• Review and use student learning materials effectively.
• Provide syllabus and ensure clear understanding of course content and expectations.
• Maintain classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning.
• Maintain daily attendance rosters and input final grades as required.
