Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit healthcare claims accurately and on time.
• Process Medicaid billing and meet payer requirements.
• Review claims and follow up on denied or unpaid claims.
• Post payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Respond to billing questions from patients and insurance companies.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Assist with reports, data entry, and account reconciliation.
• Identify billing errors and provide administrative support as needed.

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Medical Biller (Medicaid) for $20–$22 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must reside in or within commuting distance of the Greater St. Louis, Missouri area.
• Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, payment posting, EOBs, denials, and payer requirements preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure information is accurate and complete
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and company information
• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
