Qualifications

• A related associate degree or licensure with 4000 hours within five years.
• Or a related Bachelor's or Master's degree with 18 discipline credits and 4000 hours.
• Credentials include NCMA, RMA, CMA, CCMA, CMAC, NP, PA-C, MD, CNM, RN, LPN with 2000 hours.
• Alternative 4000 hours of verified related healthcare experience in the past five years.
• Bachelor’s or higher in health/science with healthcare admin credits.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical assisting at all levels (certificate/transfer) and develop curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet diverse student needs and support retention.
• Utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to foster critical thinking.
• Secondary instructors coach hands-on skills and evaluate competency in skills checks.
• Teach at varying times, locations, and modalities; maintain strong on-campus presence.

Education

Related associate degree or relevant current industry license or certification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 18 discipline related credits and 4000 verified hours

Credentials: NCMA, RMA, CMA, CCMA, CMAC, NP, PA-C, MD, CNM, RN, LPN

Minimum 4000 hours of verified related healthcare experience
