Job summary

IBMC College – Greeley, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor to deliver curriculum and hands-on training in a classroom setting. The role includes teaching multiple classes across shifts, grading, and mentoring new instructors, with both full-time and part-time hours available.

Required are a diploma or degree with industry experience (3 years) or 5 years in the field; RMA or CMA certification is preferred. Flexibility to teach various time slots and campuses is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class instruction/lecture and hands-on training as required by course content in two and/or four hour class format every five weeks.
• Teach three classes across shifts as scheduled by Faculty Manager each session (5 weeks).
• Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training activities daily.
• Complete administrative tasks per class including grading and curriculum support; host study groups and tutor students.
• Mentor new instructors every five weeks and report outcomes to Faculty Manager weekly.
• Substitute teach classes as needed or assigned by Faculty Manager.
• Attend department, campus, and company meetings as requested by Faculty Manager.
• Attend student retention events (assemblies, graduation).
• Provide support to Coach regarding attendance issues and outreach to students as needed.
• Coordinate/host licensure exam review and proctoring if applicable to program area.
• Assist Career Services and Education department with externship site visits and grading if applicable.
• Participate in faculty and professional development as required by credentialing agency.
• Availability to teach a 4th class up to three times per year.
• Maintain confidentiality of all work information.
