JMA Pediatrics is hiring a part-time Medical Assistant CMA or RMA to support our team in Holly Springs, NC, Wednesday through Friday. The role combines clinical and administrative duties to assist providers and improve patient flow.

Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with EHR systems and vital sign monitoring.
- Basic life support certification.
- Experience in outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs, height, weight, vision, and hearing.
- Gather medical and social history from patients.
- Review medications, allergies, and preferred pharmacy.
- Assist providers during treatments, examinations and procedures.
- Administer vaccines under direction.
- Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, and basic lab testing.
- Review records to identify current and potential care needs.
- Provide after-visit summaries and follow-up instructions.
