Central Ozarks Medical Center in Missouri seeks a Part-time Medical Assistant to join our mission-driven team. You will support front-line care, prepare patients, and ensure accurate documentation in our electronic health record system.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, completes a recognized medical assistant program, CPR certification, and strong customer service skills. Experience with EHR and MS Office is preferred; travel to different COMC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• CPR certification required or obtained during probationary period; CEUs as directed by COMC.
• Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Verifies patient information by interviewing and recording medical history.
• Prepares patients for examination, taking vitals and documenting history.
• Safeguards medical records and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Maintains compliant work environment following standards and regulations.
• Keeps supplies stocked and coordinates orders; supports clinic operations.
