You will work on-site with patient scheduling, EHR documentation, medication refill coordination, and basic procedures under supervision. BLS/CPR certification required, and prior MA experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or national certification.
• 1–2 years of experience using electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a private medical office or hospital setting preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Ensure accurate and complete patient information in the EHR.
• Welcome patients to the exam room and document vitals in the EHR.
• Coordinate medication refill requests between patients and providers.
• Administer prescribed medications (injections, oral, topical) per training.
• Assist with procedures (EKGs, spirometry, dressings, wound care) as needed.
• Triaging patient calls and provide medical information.
• Assist with referrals and authorizations for procedures and surgeries.

Kenntnisse
