Virtua Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient flow. The MA will obtain vitals and chief complaints, assist providers, perform phlebotomy, vaccines and basic tests, and help with front desk duties and scheduling.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited MA program, current MA certification, and BLS. The role offers a flexible schedule with competitive hourly pay.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and chief complaint.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimens; administers vaccines.
• Performs EKG and other diagnostics under supervision.
• Screens and directs patient calls; handles prescriptions/tests results.
• Maintains exam room and clinical supplies.
• Front desk duties: registration, billing and scheduling.
