Advocate Health’s Aurora Medical Group (AMG), part of a large nonprofit health system, seeks an MA or LPN to support ambulatory care teams at Southern Lakes and Lake Geneva locations. The role covers vital signs, patient preparation, vaccinations, and care coordination within an established patient-focused environment.

The schedule is 20 hours per week with shifts on alternating Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, in line with outpatient operations.

Qualifikationen

• LPN license valid in the state of practice.
• MA: completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years verifiable MA experience in last 5 years.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days unless determined not needed by department leader.

Aufgaben

• Support providers and care team, connecting with patients and ensuring a compassionate experience.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
