Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for part‑time coverage at AMG Southern Lakes and Lake Geneva locations. The role supports providers, takes vitals, assists during procedures, administers vaccines, and maintains accurate records.

BLS is required within 45 days unless exempt by leadership. The position offers part‑time hours (20 per week) with a schedule that includes alternating Mondays and specific Tuesdays/Thursdays at different sites.

Qualifications

• MA requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience.
• LPN requires completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 45 days unless not required by department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs and health histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point‑of‑care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high‑quality, coordinated care.
