Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, is seeking Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses to support ambulatory care teams in Manitowoc, WI. You will welcome patients, perform vital signs, prep for exams, administer vaccines, and document care in the EHR. Monday–Friday schedule with varied hours.

Qualifications include LPN license or MA program/experience, and BLS certification or plan to obtain. Physical requirements apply, and caring for patients is our focus.

Qualifications

• LPN license issued by the state of practice (required).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days unless exempt by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
