Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor for a structured part-time morning schedule (8 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays), to transfer clinical skills into teaching.

The instructor will lead lectures, supervise labs, assess students, and help prepare them for healthcare careers while maintaining safety standards and coordinating with the program.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program recognized by USDE/CHEA and three years of occupational MA experience
• National CMA or RMA certification
• Current licensure or certification as required by local/state/federal laws to work as a Medical Assistant
• Strong verbal and written communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and supervise hands-on clinical labs
• Advise students on curriculum progress and skill development
• Evaluate student performance and maintain attendance/grades
• Coordinate guest speakers and externship activities
• Ensure safety, infection control, and lab operations
