Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join Newark Medical Assistant School. In this role, you will inspire future healthcare professionals by combining your clinical expertise with mentorship and hands-on teaching.

Classes occur primarily on Saturdays, with possible morning/afternoon options. The program emphasizes real-world practice in a doctor's office setting, preparing students for entry-level medical assisting roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years as a medical assistant or related employment.
• CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to commute to location(s).

Responsabilités

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum, which may utilize lab stations.
• Demonstrate medical skills/procedures and assist students as they practice hands-on in the lab.
• Evaluate individual/group performance and adjust instruction to meet learning needs.
• Enforce classroom management and ensure adherence to safety precautions.
• Convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands-on demonstrations.
