Job summary

Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor for Pulse Medical Assistant School - Long Beach. You will blend medical expertise with mentorship to guide students through practical, hands-on training in a clinical setting.

Classes meet online weekday evenings (7:30–9 PM local time) and Saturdays a few times a month; a laptop will be provided. This 16-week program emphasizes real-world skills and patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ YEARS as a medical assistant or related employment.
• CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Basic computer skills (emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, connecting to WiFi).
• A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to commute to location(s).

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum and labs.
• Demonstrate medical skills and guide students in hands-on practice in the lab.
• Evaluate individual/group performance and adjust to meet learning needs.
• Enforce classroom management and ensure safety precautions.
• Ability to convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands-on demonstrations.
