Job summary

Zollege invites experienced medical assistants to become Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructors at Reno Medical Assistant School. You will mentor students, share real-world clinical knowledge, and guide hands-on learning in a doctor’s office setting.

The program runs 18 weeks with classes primarily on Saturdays from 7:30am to 6:30pm; some locations may offer weekday evenings. Teach using your clinical experience to prepare students for entry-level roles in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Mentoring students in a hands-on learning environment.
• Teaching and communicating medical concepts to adult learners.
• Maintaining patient-safety and clinical standards in demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum, which may utilize lab stations.
• Demonstrate medical skills/procedures and assist students as they practice hands-on in the lab.
• Evaluate individual/group performance and make any necessary adjustments to meet student learning needs.
• Enforce classroom management and ensure adherence to safety precautions.
• Ability to convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands-on demonstrations.
