Job summary

ExperCare Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant for a part-time role in Fayette, Alabama. You will perform triage, take vital signs, conduct EKGs and rapid tests, venipuncture, injections, and support providers with patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

We value exceptional customer service, flexibility in scheduling, and a willingness to learn. Certification or licensure is required or eligible, and prior clinical experience is preferred to join a team

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability — including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure).
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing.
• Venipuncture and administer injections.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education.
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.).
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment.
