Job summary

Stopwatch Urgent Care in Winfield, AL is looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. You will engage directly with patients and support care delivery through a mix of clinical and administrative tasks, under supervision by providers.

We value great people skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certification is nice but not required; six months MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in Medical Assisting is desired, but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience working as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with patients and work to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Perform a wide variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care.
• Cross-train in other areas of the clinic and follow provider supervision.
