Job summary

ExperCARE in Fayette, AL is seeking a Medical Assistant for a part-time role to support a fast-paced clinic. You will perform triage, take vital signs, document patient histories, and assist providers with procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate is certified or licensed (or eligible), has excellent customer service, and is available days/evenings/weekends. The clinic offers growth opportunities and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability on days, evenings, and weekends.
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure).
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.)
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment
