Job summary

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant at Midtown Health Center to support patient care.

You will assist providers with diagnostic testing, take vitals, prepare exam rooms, administer injections, and handle front/back office duties.

Required: High School diploma or GED, MA certification, BLS; Spanish language preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or BOMEX-compliant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic testing, exams, and patient education.
• Take vitals and document health history.
• Set up EKG, administer injections, and collect specimens.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Support scheduling, check-in/out, and referral processing.
• Coordinate with insurance for authorizations when needed.
