Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Physician Assistants.
• National Certification and AZ State Licensed as Physician Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, and treatment.
• Prescribes medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Reviews and updates medical records per standards and regulations.
• Refers patients to specialists when needed.
• Interacts with patients and families to inform and engage in care decisions.
• Offers counseling on wellness and disease prevention.
• Coordinates patient care activities of nursing staff as required.
• Follows policies, QA objectives, and safety/infection control standards.
• Enforces PPE standards for clinical staff.
• Attends trainings and community outreach events as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
