Job summary

Corewell Health's Byron Center Family Medicine clinic is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join a collaborative team in Byron Center, MI. You will support physicians and APPs, assist with patient care, and help maintain a compassionate, efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills training OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with MA scope of practice Required
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• One of the following Required within 120 Days: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant training program / MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA)
