Job summary

Corewell Health's Byron Center Family Medicine practice seeks a Medical Assistant to join a four-physician, APP-led team in a busy outpatient setting. You will provide clinical support, engage with patients, and help ensure high-quality care under supervision.

This part-time role (16 hours/week) requires MA program completion or equivalent experience, BLS, and CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA certification options. Shift Tue 10:00–19:00 and Wed 8:30–17:00, with pay and benefits per policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required.
• Completion of accredited MA training program OR 1 year direct MA/ LPN/ Paramedic/EMT experience Required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting.
• BLS Certification Required within 90 Days.
• One of CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA certification within 120 Days.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and direct patient care alongside healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Support workflow and patient flow within an outpatient setting.
