Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for the Winchester location. The role supports Providers, helps with patient procedures, and may perform basic lab tasks. Strong communication and confidential patient handling are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assisting credential or EMT background, with CMA/RMA considered for advancement and experience in a busy practice setting. Part-time schedule reflects 12 hours weekly with potential flexibility.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assisting course or EMT certification will be considered for MA I position.
• Those who hold completion of Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA, CCMA) will be considered for MA II position.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals and document findings.
• Assist Providers with procedures and injections/immunizations.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and chart/document patient information.
• Coordinate triage calls and communicate orders to patients and families.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide age-appropriate care.
