Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora Medical Group – Podiatry location is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and patients across Downers Grove, Aurora, and Naperville. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The role requires a MA diploma or equivalent experience, with phlebotomy skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of experience.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
