TrulyHired is seeking an Aide for the Warren Woods Tower High School Media Center and CTE Para Pro position. This is a part-time, grant-funded role managing media center operations and supporting career and technical education activities.

The role emphasizes assisting students and staff with library resources, circulation duties, and use of online systems, while providing clerical support and training volunteers. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform clerical and administrative tasks with limited supervision.
• Proficient performance on district skills assessment.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Willingness to learn emerging technologies.
• Commitment to high standards of service and professionalism in a library environment.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily media center operations including shelving books and assisting patrons.
• Support reference and research inquiries and resource organization.
• Assist circulation of materials and use of online library systems.
• Perform clerical, administrative, and computer-based duties.
• Prepare and maintain the circulation desk and supplies.
• Train volunteers and new media assistants.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, dependability and time management.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
• Support XELLO software and career development initiatives.
• Support instruction for special populations and adapt materials as needed.
• Assist with IEP meetings when appropriate.
• Assist with classroom management and student supervision.
