Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or CNA certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in interdisciplinary care settings.
• Ability to work with seniors in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and completes ongoing education required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Reports all changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor promptly.
