Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a Part-time Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer medications per physician orders and monitor residents for effects.

This role requires a Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation and communication skills. Prior senior care experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
