The department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health is seeking a medical scribe to ensure accurate and complete medical record information for each patient. Accompany physician into the patient examination room when appropriate in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician's encounter with the patient and other present. List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician. Transcribe patient orders including laboratory test, radiology tests, medications, etc. Chart provider/patient encounter in real time. Document any procedures performed by the physician.
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. With the ability to be flexible when needs arise.
Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 hourly
Grade: PAT - 004
