Job summary

Northampton Community College is seeking part-time adjunct instructors for the Mechanical Technology program. Candidates will teach credit courses with an emphasis on mechanical maintenance, bearings, belts, gears, servos, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related hand and power tools.

The role includes leading discussions and guiding students toward program certifications and career readiness. Classes are scheduled in the afternoon and evening, and instructors will allocate time for laboratory

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and/or design.
• College-level teaching experience desirable but not required.
• Ability to convey concepts following a prescribed curriculum.
