Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Mechanical Engineering.
• Educational degrees must be from a regional accredited institution.
• Passion for teaching in engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use innovative teaching techniques.
• Familiarity with distance learning and technology tools in instruction.
• Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods.
• Ability to work with students and colleagues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses as scheduled and designs curriculum embracing diversity.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods and communicates expectations clearly.
• Adapts lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials as needed.
• Maintains accurate student records, attendance, and timely grades.
• Engages with students regularly to promote inclusive learning experiences.
