Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Mechanical Engineering.
• All educational degrees must be from a regional accredited institution.
• Must have passion for teaching in engineering.
• Possesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to use innovative teaching techniques.
• Familiarity with distance learning and willingness to use technology tools in instruction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Make optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engage with students proactively and regularly in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning.
• Interact with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complying with college policies.
