Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking adjunct faculty in Engineering to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes. You will provide syllabi, maintain records, and be available to students outside class time.

Instruction will use Canvas, PowerPoint, and other tools as needed. Candidates should hold a master’s or higher in engineering, plus two years’ engineering experience or a PE license; preference for prior undergraduate teaching.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s or higher in engineering from a regionally accredited institution.
• Two years’ work experience in an engineering field or PE license.
• Preference for undergraduate teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
• Provide course syllabus to students and follow syllabus requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time.
