The Tops Markets Meat Wrapper position is a frontline role focused on handling meat products, customer service, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include weighing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking, while maintaining accurate pricing and temperatures across the department.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to read and write, have basic math and computer skills, and possess strong communication abilities to support store operations.

• Identify all cuts of meat
• Maintain adequate meat supplies and follow suggested plan-o-gram cooler layout
• Maintain proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, straightening, and rotating product
• Follow direction of Meat Manager and Manager on Duty, inform appropriate person if problems arise

SUMMARY

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. Meat Wrapper is responsible for handling meat and meat products. Wrapper will weigh, wrap, price, and label all meat products, as well as stock shelves and maintain a clean work area. Wrapper is responsible for setting an example in providing attentive and courteous customer service.
