Kj’s Market is seeking a part-time Meat Department team member in Augusta, GA. You will greet guests, assist with product prep and stocking, and ensure proper pricing, dating and freshness of meat and seafood. The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

You must be able to lift heavy items, work in a cold environment, and stand for long periods. The job offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay as part of a family-owned and growing company with tuition

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal and selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Able to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and create a selling environment.
• Prepare knife-ready meat products for sale per standards.
• Assist with product receiving, inventory and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen items, meats in sales areas.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in meat/seafood prep areas and store floors.
• Ensure products are fresh and in date; communicate shrink issues to management.
• Make PA announcements for meat/seafood promotions.
• Handle guest requests/concerns and assist management as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
