Job summary

Rancho Santiago Community College District is seeking part-time, temporary, hourly instructors for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. This roster will be used as-needed for teaching assignments across the district.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate cultural competency with diverse student populations and support RSCCD’s equity and inclusion goals. A strong commitment to student learning outcomes and effective assessment is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s in mathematics or applied mathematics, or equivalent with related master’s in statistics/physics/math education.
• Bachelor’s in math or applied math with Master’s in statistics/physics/math education (as applicable).
• Valid California Community College credential; or equivalent pathway with defined coursework/equivalencies.

Responsibilities

• Teach all assigned classes, including possible evening or off-campus sections.
• Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, and progress.
• Assist in maintaining course outlines and observe regulations in Faculty Handbook.
• Participate in department committees and activities and teach a variety of courses within the discipline.
