Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center in Milpitas, CA is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to support K-8 students through personalized one-on-one instruction. You will explain math concepts in accessible terms, encourage problem-solving, and track progress using our curriculum and resources.

Friendly, dependable tutors help build confidence and leadership skills while making a real difference. The role runs June 2, 2026 to December 31, 2026 with after-school shifts (2:30 PM - 7:30 PM etc.), 6-12 hours/week,

Qualifications

• Strong math foundation and ability to explain concepts clearly to K-8 students.
• Experience tutoring or teaching is a plus but not required; training provided.

A Schedule That Fits Around School

This role is designed to work around your school schedule.

Typical shifts include:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 2 :30 PM - 7:30 PM
• Wednesday & Friday: 2 :30 PM - 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

We're looking for tutors who can work 2-4 shifts per week , with Saturday availability strongly preferred.

It's a great opportunity to earn money while balancing classes, sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
