Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center in Milpitas, CA is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to support elementary and middle school students after school. The role offers 6–12 hours/week with potential for additional hours and a pay rate of $19.00–$20.00 per hour.

You will tutor K–8 students, explain concepts clearly, encourage problem-solving, and track progress using our curriculum. A flexible schedule around school hours is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be currently in high school (16+) or college, or have a high school diploma.
• Strong math skills and willingness to help others.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication.

A Schedule That Fits Around School

This role is designed to work around your school schedule.

Typical shifts include:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Wednesday & Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

We’re looking for tutors who can work 2–4 shifts per week, with Saturday availability strongly preferred.

It’s a great opportunity to earn money while balancing classes, sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
