Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center is seeking a friendly, dependable math tutor to support K–8 students after school. This part-time role offers 6–12 hours per week at $19.00–$20.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional hours.

You will tutor one-on-one, explain math concepts clearly, encourage problem-solving, and track progress using our curriculum. No lesson planning required; training and materials are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be in high school (16+) or college.
• Strong foundation in math.
• Friendly, dependable and patient.
• No lesson planning required – curriculum provided.
• Weekend availability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor K–8 students with one-on-one math instruction.
• Explain concepts clearly and foster problem-solving.
• Track progress and build positive relationships with students and families.
• Support learning center operations as needed.
• Mentor new tutors and assist with training.

A Schedule That Fits Around School

This role is designed to work around your school schedule.

Typical shifts include:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 2 :30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

We're looking for tutors who can work2–4 shifts per week, withSaturday availability strongly preferred.
