Catapult Learning is hiring a Part-Time Math and Reading Intervention Teacher in Highlands County, FL. The role focuses on small-group instruction for grades 3-12, with flexible scheduling (about 6 hours/week, Tue/Thu preferred).

Pay is $30 per hour, and the school is located in Lake Placid, FL 33852. Candidates should hold a Florida teaching certificate or eligibility and have classroom or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills using company materials and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans using curriculum.
• Supervise students and ensure safety; light lifting may be required.
• Enter data on attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications timely.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms and files per regulations.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs; track progress and keep records.
• Other duties as assigned.
