Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking an Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for after-school programs in Lee County, FL. This part-time, in-person role delivers Reading/ELA and Math instruction to small groups in a face-to-face school setting.

Responsibilities include using company materials, developing skill-based lesson plans, data entry, parent conferences, and maintaining student records. Pay is $28 per hour with benefits for qualifying staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Teaching Certificate is a plus.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• A passion to help students.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students.
• Utilize curriculum to develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students and escort them to and from classrooms and learning stations; light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry to meet deadlines (attendance, testing, progress reports, communications, compliance).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms and files per local, state, and federal requirements.
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers, and parents; differentiate instruction and track progress.
