Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking a Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for Osceola County, FL. This part-time role supports Grades K-5 with 4.5 hours per week, delivering targeted Reading/ELA and Math instruction in a school setting.

Responsibilities include data entry, parent conferences, and using company materials to tailor lessons. Competitive pay of $27/hour and flexible scheduling support student success and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction: customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs; engage students: foster ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines; grow professionally: embrace training, coaching, and feedback; track progress: maintain accurate student and academic records.
