Job description

A free public charter school in South Jordan, Utah, is now accepting applications for a Math Interventionist for the current 2026-2027 school year. This position will be part-time.

This charters school will provide student-centered, individualized education, based on Montessori philosophy and research-based best practices. The educational program will focus on interdisciplinary connections and hands-on learning experiences.

In support of this mission, preference may be given to candidates who have previous Montessori teaching experience, hold Montessori certification, and/or are willing to undergo training to become Montessori certified.

Qualified applicants will have passed the PRAXIS exam, or have an associate's degree (or equivalent credits towards a bachelor's degree). Qualified applicant will work under direction of a certified teacher. Preference may be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching. Candidate must also submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah's Department of Public Safety requirements.
