Job summary

Agupdate is seeking an adjunct mathematics faculty to teach courses ranging from developmental to calculus, with in-person offerings and some online options. This part-time role does not provide visa sponsorship.

The selected candidate will teach undergraduate courses, employ best practices to evaluate coursework, and engage in duties supporting department needs. A Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field and at least 18 graduate credit hours are required, with prior teaching

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
At least 18 graduate-level credit hours of coursework in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (transcripts required).
Previous teaching experience is required.
Knowledge of math education issues and classroom technology.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part-time basis.
Use best practices to continually evaluate student coursework.
Engage in activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
Review and respond in a timely manner to all university-related and student communications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
