Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• 2+ years nursing practice as RN within last five years.
• Current professional nursing licensure in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implements curriculum and outcomes through clinical teaching and service
• Plans clinical experiences with direct student supervision and evaluation
• Evaluates student performance and provides timely feedback
• Remediates students as needed
• Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments
• Grades homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical paperwork promptly
• May teach didactic content under supervision
• Keeps the course coordinator informed of student and agency issues
• Reports to the dean or assistant dean
