Job summary

Susquehanna Printing Company is seeking a PT Material Handler to join our Lancaster team. The role focuses on material handling, feeding hoppers, stacking, packaging, and distribution of pre-printed inserts and printed products.

The position is 20 hours weekly on a Day shift (Thursday and Friday, 7am-5pm). Candidates should have feeding experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced printing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Feeding Experience is required.
• Experience with forklifts and dollies; basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and injury prevention.
• Retrieve production materials and place in locations using moving equipment.
• Jog and feed pre-printed materials into machine feed hoppers.
• Stack bundles of printed products off press and prepare for next steps.
• Build skids of product evenly according to quantities.
• Load newspaper bundles into carts and manage workflow.
• Wrap finished product with an automated stretch wrap machine.
