Job summary

Susquehanna Printing Company is seeking a part-time Night Shift Material Handler in Lancaster to assist with material handling, stacking, packing, distributing pre-printed inserts, and feeding inserts into machines. The role is 20 hours per week, primarily 5pm–3am on Wednesdays and Thursdays with possible Fridays.

Responsibilities include using forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring safety, and maintaining efficient production flows.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Feeding Experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and injury prevention for self and others.
• Retrieve production materials and place them using material moving equipment.
• Jog and feed pre-printed materials into machine feed hoppers.
• Stack finished bundles and monitor quality for future steps.
• Build skids and load newspaper bundles into carts by zone.
• Wrap finished product using stretch wrap machine.
• Demonstrate urgency, teamwork, clear communication, and adaptability.
• Able to work weekday and weekend overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
